Our Backyard is a National Park

The land that is behind our house in part of the Cuyahoga National Park. We just moved here back in July and today was the second time we had hiked back there. The first time we followed a rough path that lead to a sort of paved road. We followed that till it seemed to end. Then hiked up a small hill that seemed to have a rough path again. Once we got to the top we seemed to have lost the path so we went back home. Well, today we decided we were going to explore farther in. I'm really glad we did cause the boys were able to see all kinds of neat things. BTW if your are ever looking for a cool walking stick you will certainly find one here! Josh found one that was really cool!

We soon came to a good size hill. Ken and Ethan decided they were going down it. I wasn't sure Josh could make it.

But, Josh insisted on trying so we came down too! Josh ended up sliding down on his butt.

When we got back down we found a tiny stream of water. Lots of cool flat rocks.

Then we decided to make our way up another hill!

I loved the picture of Joshua with his walking stick! He looks like the "king of the hill." Thanks for posting them!
